University Relations Program Coordinator

Staples Inc. is looking to hire University Relations Program Coordinator in our Framingham, MA office. This associate will report to the Manager of University Relations and provide support for the college relations program at both the MBA and undergraduate level. This Associate will partner with University Recruiters and all TA Specialists and Managers to support entry level recruiting.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment of ethnically diverse students for full-time and internship opportunities for the University Recruiting program
  • Schedule internal interviews, coordinate campus events and presentations, handle external correspondence (email and Postal mail), and answer both internal and external inquiries relating to college recruiting
  • Effectively manage college recruitment tools to attract and build relationships with candidates and update/maintain postings and intranet site content. Includes utilizing the internet sites to source candidates for full-time and internship positions
  • Assist in coordinating the university internship program including sourcing and recruiting interns
  • Assist in planning and organizing all events related to University/internship program including coordinating all events such as an executive speaking series and cross functional intern projects
  • Manage, track and update all University related activities and information
  • Perform preliminary screening of for internship/co-op open positions as needed. Pre-screen all college candidates prior to interviews here and/or on campus
  • Represent Staples, Inc. at college and diversity job fairs as needed

Qualifications:

 

Basic:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2+ years of program coordination/administration or similar experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • University Program or relevant talent acquisition experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels internally and externally, including executives
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Intimate knowledge of college relations community including career services and staff
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
