Administrative Assistant- Research and Compliance

SEEKING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

In our Quality Research & Compliance (QRC) Department in Northampton, MA

 

Our Applied Research department – the only one of its kind in this area – studies the results of various therapies used in our behavioral health centers and other programs, tracks their impact over time and provides us with the information needed to shape new approaches to care. The department publishes an e-newsletter which highlights some of our latest projects. This is a full-time position that would work Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

 

DUTIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

  • Assist with collection and entry of data for various QRC projects.
  • Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the department.
  • Records minutes of meetings when requested by QRC directors. Distributes and files minutes for future reference.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as CEOs, senior vice presidents, and department directors. Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as project manager for special projects which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information and overseeing distribution of survey materials.
  • Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Provide support for grant/contract applications and renewals. Coordinate with QRC directors and direct care managers.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor’s degree in related field required.

·         Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel.

·         Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.

·         Data management and computer skills including the ability to manage, collect, enter, and report on data using data management software.

·         Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

·         Exceptional communication skills.

·         Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.

·         Valid Driver’s License and acceptable MVR.
